Luke (Stephen Manderson) is Ethel's carer, as the old lady suffers from
Alzheimer's disease and can no longer care for herself. And at first look,
he does a pretty decent job seeiing to the woman's needs. Thing is, he
owes money to drugdealer Jack (Elijah Baker), money he just doesn't have.
So he gives Jack a tip-off on how to break into Ethel's flat and where she
hides her money - information Jack puts to good use. But things aren't
always as black and white as they seem ... A rather impressive
short, one that manages to tell a rather multi-layered story that
repeatedly changes perspective in a mere 15 minutes, and it's also a film
that, despite its social concerns, doesn't drive its message home but
concentrates on fine, inventive storytelling. And a direction that finds a
good balance between stark realism and cinematic artistry, and a very
solid cast help make this a pretty good watch,
