Frankie (Frank Gun), his wife Esther (Gabriella Vincze), and his best friend Johnny (Zenza Raggi) are on an expedition to the wildest jungle of Africa to find traces of Jenny (Selen), his relative who has gone missing in the jungle when she still was a child. But first he has to find out that his wife has an affair with Johnny, but upon catching them red-handed, he just joins in for a threesome. Then he actually finds Jenny riding on an elephant, and before you know it, they have sex - Jenny and Frankie that is.

Frankie decides to take Jenny back to his (and actually her) native Scotland, much to the dismay of Esther, who soon shows her jealousy by having sex with all of his friends. At first, Jenny doesn't fit into Scotland's high society at all, but she soon has sex with everybody in reach anyhow. And in the end, Frankie promises to take her back eventually ...

Of course, this is a hardcore porn flick, so its emphasis is firmly on fucking, and believe me, there's plenty of it in here. However, on a plot-level, this film at first looks promising, too - after all, bringing a wild girl to civilization seems to be full of possibilities, right? And for a time, the movie even tries, even if director Joe D'Amato seems to be unable to capture the emotional and comical aspects of some of the scenes (like Jenny's first dinner in Scotland) and is not helped by the wooden acting of his cast. Then though, D'Amato drops all pretense and just puts his characters into fuckscene after fuckscene, all of which happen without narrative necessity. And after approximately 100 minutes, the movie just ends without any actual conclusion.

When it comes to (plot-based) porn, One can't help but admit that Joe D'Amato has made some pretty good films (like his somewhat similarly themed Tarzan-film Jungle Heat) but also delivered his fair share of bombs. Queen of the Elephants certainly doesn't rank among D'Amato's better films, but unlike some of his other XXX-stuff, it at least shows promise.
