Big oil, big finance and big pharma play one of their regular games of Zapper, where they send zappers all through town to collect puzzle pieces to try and assemble the king's board. However, these puzzle pieces could be anything or anyone really, and the players don't know who's whose zapper (and are sometimes unsure who's their own), the rules of the game are flexible, there are many death traps and the laws of nature don't always apply. So really the puzzle pieces make their way from one zapper to the next (played by Nick Gatsby, Skye Armenta, Crhistopher James Taylor, Evgueni Mlodik, Moye the Great, Dustin Shelbourn, among others), and when a mystery man (Rick James) steps in to shake up things with his own zapper, things get really out of control ...

Above synopsis admittedly does the film little justice, as any synopsis would, as while the plot, objectively speaking, is pieced together from adventure and crime thriller tropes, the film follows the logic of dreams, every now and again crosses over into pure surealism (like when the characters shoot laser beams out of bananas or pugs), and even the scenes anchored in the here and now are augmented by a strange, ever changing colour schemes and psychedelic video effects that give the move a trip-like atmosphere. And add to that plenty of comedy that ranges from satire to the absurd to the childish even, and you're in for a rather unique (and highly watchable) cinematic experience.
