Your new movie 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes - in a few words, whats it about?

To simplify it, it’s about two greedy grave robbers who get what they deserve I’d say.

What were your sources of inspiration when writing 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes?

It is definitely Tales from the Crypt and all things EC Comics I’d say for this one for sure!

Do talk about your movie's approach to horror?

We went for a more fun and ironic approach to horror this time around, to add something different than what we went for last time.

At least for me, 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes was also a pretty funny movie - so do you at all agree, and if so what can you tell us about your movie's brand of comedy?

Thank you! That’s exactly what we are going for here with this film! A comedy and horror mix because me and my brother who helped me on the project are very big fans of the comedy genre.

One basic question, why did you decide to make 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes an animated movie, and was this the first time you turned to animation?

I’ve always wanted to make an animated film and after dipping my toes into it with the last film I decided to go all out with it on this one.

What can you tell us about your animator Imam, and what was your collaboration like?

Imam is great! We have I’d say a solid creative relationship and I’d love to work with him again on future projects if they come up.

A few words about your overall directorial approach to your story at hand, and how does directing an animated movie compare to doing a live action one? And based on your experience with 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes, will you ever return to the realm of animation?

We definitely would love to do another animated film! And it was a totally different process and honestly maybe even a more fun process to me than live action because you can do whatever you want creatively without having to worry about budget.

You and Jordan Jacobs (any relation by the way) also voice the two characters in 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes - so why the both of you, and do talk about the recording session for a bit!

Yes, Jordan is my brother! He also made most of the music for the film too! And we had a blast recording the voice lines here, one of the funnest experiences I’ve had in my filmmaking career!

The $64-question of course, where can 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes be seen?

We are looking into submitting it to film festivals but it will also eventually be on YouTube!

Anything you can tell us about audience and critical reception of 4 Minutes of Terror: Death Throes?

So far it’s been great and I could not be happier about it!

What's next in store for 4 Minutes of Terror - and/or any other future projects you'd like to share?

That remains to be seen! We will see how this goes and we will go from there!

Your/your series' website, social media, whatever else?
