Sarah (Heather Drew) has been an avid follower of a rich millionaire's
cult and apparently its leader's "favourite", whatever that
might entail. But now she finds herself in a police interrogation room
where a detective (Patrick Devaney) and is confronted with all sorts of
uncomfortable questions, as apparently the cult that on the surface
propagated nothing but love was the cover for a terrorist organisation
planning a coup. But what's revealed during the interrogation puts a whole
new spin on things ... A very tight little thriller that
despite never leaving the room and revolving around a single conversation
of two people, so lacking actual spectacle of any form, manages to build
up tension and suspense throughout, with plenty of surprise twists,
especially during the finale. That's all thanks to a clever script, a
genre-savvy and dynamic directorial effort, and of course strong
performances by the two leads. A worthwhile genre miniature for sure.
