On the pursuit of their stolen giant spaceship Red Dwarf, its crew - the
last human Lister (Craig Charles), the after-death hologram Rimmer (Chris
Barrie), the robot Kryten (Robert Llewellyn), the cat evolved to human form Cat
(Danny John-Jules) - land on a spacestation where they are greeted by a weird
robot called Legion (Nigel Williams), who is bound to fulfill their every wish,
but insists in keeping them as prisoners. But why ? Legion is an entity
that is formed by the (conscious) personalities of all the persons it serves
(which are by that point only our 4 heroes), & without anyone to serve it
would seize to exist. So, Kryten the robot (the smart one of the bunch) finds a
solution: He knocks out his companions & - as Kryten is pure servitude
himself - Legion, who has now only Kryten's personality, is forced to serve
Kryten & not only let them go but also help them doing so ... Ah yes,
& from this episode on, Rimmer the hologram has physical form. Even
if this episode is better than many other episodes of the previous 2 seasons,
it is only mildly funny.
