Just like every day, a woman (Sheri Lee) fills up the food in the many
birdhouses in her garden, until she finds one of them covered in blue goo
that's totally unfamiliar to her. She notices a trail of blue leading into
the forest behind the house, and decides to follow it into the forest
behind the house. There she finds more and more clues that just don't fit
the wildlife of the area - until she hears a bird cawing right behind her,
but when she turns, the creature (Brian Bouyea) she faces is certainly no
bird ... A very nice (and pretty creepy) horror miniature
(approximately 3 minutes long) that might have a minimalistic approach to
it (like bringing its story across dialogue-free) but makes the most out
of its location and soundscapes, and its creature surely is the stuff of
nightmares -- and yet what really makes the movie is its slightly ironic
twist towards the end that's destined to send a chill down your spine and
that makes for a pretty great horror experience.
