Little Ichiro learns about the Iron Cross Army's secret arsenal, which
is why the Iron Cross Army tries to run him over by truck. But Ichiro is
picked up by Takuya (Shinji Toudou), who rushes him to a hospital to save
his life, and even donates blood for the boy's survival - which is kind of
risky since Takuya is secretly Spider-Man and has blood from Planet
Spider in his veins. The boy recovers remarkably well though, and once
he's better, Takuya - as Spider-Man - decides to attack the Iron Cross
Army's arsenal, first fighting the army's henchmen one-on-one, and once
the baddies release their Mashine Bem, a robot who can grow in size,
Spider-Man calls his Marveller/Leopardon robot to destroy the Machine Bem.
Then he bids farewell to the boy, the only one who ever managed to guess
Spider-Man's other identity, because just like Takuya, he now has spider
senses. Campy fun! Granted, the whole subplot about the boy
Ichiro - who also happens to be an orphan - is a bit hard to wallow, and
the ending, in which Ichiro and Spider-Man hug is definitely a bit too
much on the cheesy side, but the fight-and-chase scenes and the robot
battle are fun in a childish sort of way.
