The host of a dating agency video presents us a collection of dating
videos to choose from;
- He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not:She (Trish Martin) thought he
(Todd Martin) loved her - but then she found him running around with
another woman (Ashley Adriance) - and her reaction to this is she's
not too good on just letting go ...
- The Penance: A potion from a magic healer lands in a
roundabout way in the hands of july (Christina Pezzo), a young woman
who's so strung out she'll pretty much try everything. Only injecting
the potion has a very unexpected effect of her ...
- Hot Tub Witch: Ricky (Kirk Sardonis) has an affair with Jill
(Cassidy David), and it's serious enough for him to actually kill his
wife Marie (Larsa Honeytoast). Thing is, he hasn't taken into account
that Marie's a witch who has anticipated just that and made a
contingency plan ...
- Monster Busters: Chuck (Joseph Voegele) and Rowena (Tonjia Atomic)
are a real life couple where they pose as cryptid hunters - and of
course, their show is completely fake, and all the evidence they find
is carefully planted. And they probably shoueldn't even be doing the
show as their egos pretty much constantly clash, with things really
coming to the point with their latest show about the batsquatch (which
is supposed to be exactly what it sounds like). Thing is, the
batsquatch might actually be real ...
- Bigfoot in Love: Teens Wanda (Kailie Jackson) and Phil (Dalin
Tipton) run a survival podcast that's ... silmpy not very
successful - that is, until during one of their shows somewhere deep
in the woods, they stumble upon Bigfoot
(Jeffrey Ridlington) - and witness him murdering
his female companion (Sharon Bryant-Butcher) right in front of their cameras. Wanda and Phil
thing they have it made, having concrete proof of Bigfoot's existence
- but instead they're ridiculed as nobody believes the video is real.
Out of other options, they revisit the stretch of the woods they've
seen Bigfoot at - to discover that area doesn't only get Bigfoots but
also humans in a homicidal mood ...
An anthology that pretty much has a bit of everything, from lyrical
pieces to good old-fashioned short stories bto outright comedies, held
together by some intro clips by the actors of the respective previous
shorts in character, like on actual dating videos, which is a really nice
touch. As for the segments of the film, of course they vary wildly in
approach, in tone, in style, in whatnot, and so there's a good chance that
not all will land equally well witht he respeective audience, but as much
is to be expected from anthologies that are intentionally a bit all over
the place, but there's a good chance you'll find enough to like to really
enjoy this one.
