A secret organisation decides to destroy Saki (Yoko Minamino), undercover crime
fighting student, and send in a mechanically enhanced wrestler, Hayato, to
do the job - and it appears in him she has found her master, as she is
only able to escape thanks to her sidekicks
Okyo (Haruko
Sagara) and Yukino (Akie Yoshizawa) - but in return, the girls want some
answers. And thus, Saki tells them the tragic story of her youth, when she
saw her father die, and her mother (Akiko Izumi) forced her to wear an
iron mask to evade the killers of her father, something that has
emotinally scarred her ever since. She also urges Okyo and Yukino to not
help her any longer as she doesn't want to put them in harm's way. The two
leave somewhat miffed. It's not long though that Hayato attacks again, and
this time he even manages to relieve Saki of her trusted yo-yo. But enter
Okyo and Yukino, who manage to turn the tide, and when they find out
Hayato's mechanically enhanced, it's fairly easy to take his enhancements
apart and put him out of commission.
Story-wise this episode might not have too much to offer, and even
Saki's big reveals about her past have been hinted at before extensively.
But seeing three schoolgirls with weird weapons fight a big and hunky guy
with mechanical enhancements looking quite a bit like Terminator
sure is lots of campy fun.
